We created this short presentation as a primer on Critical Race Theory ("CRT"). It's critical (pun intended) that you understand the concepts and definitions to identify how frequent and pervasive CRT is in our schools, particularly since those who claim it isn't intentionally avoid using the term to describe its principles.
Quick Tip: Anytime you see the terms "Systemic Racism," "Institutional Racism" or "Structural Racism," you're looking at the core concept of CRT, which is that racism is "embedded" in American institutions such as education, law enforcement and the justice system.
